NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Crawford will hold a public hearing for an area variance to amend a prior appeal from 2018 to allow a 40 ft. by 40 ft. chalet garage to be located within the side yard setback when prior approval permitted a 30 ft. x 40 ft. chalet garage; and an elevated walkway connecting the garage to the house, at the property located at 764 Bullville Road, designated as 14-1-38.4 on the Tax Map of the Town of Crawford in the RA Zoning District, owned by John and Deborah Maragliano. Said hearing will take place on November 4, 2020, at 7:30 P.M. at 121 Route 302, Pine Bush, NY.

Meetings are held on Tuesday’s at the Town of Crawford Community Center, 115 State Route 302, Pine Bush, NY 12566. We meet at 12:00 pm starting with a half hour of social time before a short business meeting at 12:30 pm. At times, we invite speakers to come discuss programs that are of general interest to seniors. After the business meeting, members who want to stay for Bingo are welcome. Bingo cards are $1 each. About twice a month we hold a 50/50 raffle.
No meeting is held if the Pine Bush Schools are closed or have a 2- hour delay due to inclement weather.
To join, you must attend three meetings at no cost to you. After that, the dues are $2 for the meeting. Once you hit 90 years of age, there are no dues! Coffee, tea and snacks are provided at no charge, though we occasionally offer deeply discounted lunches, such as the corned beef sandwiches for St. Patrick’s Day, the August barbecue, and our Turkey-with-all-the-fixings Thanksgiving celebration.
During the year, we offer several bus trips to casinos and venues like the Riverview Inn in Pennsylvania, which offers a hearty luncheon and a show. In addition, we have outings to local restaurants for the Chinese New Year, the Installation of Officers, and Octoberfest. New calendars generally come out in January.
