Town of Crawford Supervisor Mike Menendez is pleased to announce the 2026 budget will once again be under the New York State Tax Cap. We have been under the Tax Cap every year since it was enacted. Despite increased costs for insurance, retirement benefits and essential services, the Town Board was able to maintain a small increase in taxes of 1.55% for general services (A) and highway (DA), and just a 0.59% increase in the overall rate including all budget lines and special districts. This amounts to about a $24.00 annual increase for a home with a market value of over $447,000. The Town remains one of the most financially stable Towns in Orange County, as we look to continue numerous town improvement projects in 2026.

FURTHER NOTICE IS GIVEN that said Town Board will meet at the Town Hall, 121State Route 302, Pine Bush, NY 12566 on the 15th day of October, 2026, at 6:00 pm for a workshop and 7:00 pm for the purpose of conducting a hearing to consider any objections which may be made to said assessment roll.
